Prospect Promotion

The Cleveland Guardians are promoting their No. 1 prospect, Travis Bazzana, from Triple-A Columbus, a club source told MLB.com on Monday night. The 23-year-old second baseman, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, could debut as early as Tuesday against the Rays at Progressive Field. Bazzana has impressed early in the season with a strong slash line in the minors.
