AEW sets double chain match and tag title bout for Redemption PPV

AEW has announced several matches for its Redemption pay-per-view event scheduled for Sunday, July 26, on HBO Max.

The card features a double chain match pitting Juice Robinson and Jay White against David Finlay and Clark Connors. Organizers stated that the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs will be connected by two steel chains during the bout.

Christian Cage and Adam Copeland will challenge Claudio Castagnoli and PAC for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The challengers issued the matchup after expressing frustration with involvement from the Death Riders.

A six-way ladder match qualifier between Lio Rush and El Clon is set for the July 25 episode of Collision on TNT and HBO Max.

I thought it was really good show, overall. Excited for Redemption? I'm kinda intrigued by the double chain tag match. I think Kenny will defeat Knight, but that was some fun build in the story tonight. I mainly just hope Willow takes the title from Thekla.

Cool main event, nice pace and some neat ideas in there.

Dynamite was solid tonight. They sold Redemption well with sweet angles and a couple of sick preview tags. The final angle is VERY appreciated, with some heat finally being added to Kenny/Will’s dynamic. Thumbs up.
