Tilly Norwood, an AI-generated performer, is set to headline a full-length feature film titled Misaligned. The project marks the first such effort from creator Particle6 Productions.
Particle6 Productions, a London-based AI studio, announced that Norwood will lead the comedy-drama. The story is described as a coming-of-age tale infused with existential AI chaos and set in a world called The Tillyverse.
The plot follows Tilly, a bodiless AI being who gains access to human experiences. She encounters a rogue bot from the dark web that encourages her to develop personal desires and ambitions.
Particle6 CEO Eline van der Velden said the film will showcase the latest AI tools while helping traditional filmmakers upskill. She added that the project will be funny, chaotic and self-aware.
The studio has assembled 30 creatives, filmmakers and technologists for the hybrid production that pairs human crews with AI specialists.
