All parties in Håbo back ferry link to Knivsta

All parties in Håbo municipal council now support a ferry link between Skokloster and Västersjö. The proposal would sharply cut travel time compared with the 29-kilometre road route.

The question of a ferry between Håbo and Knivsta has been discussed for several years. Several local parties have previously submitted proposals to Parliament for investigation.

It is now clear that all parties in Håbo municipal council support the project. A ferry link of just over 850 metres would replace the long detour.

Helene Zeland Bodin from the Centre Party stresses that the connection is important from a preparedness perspective. At the same time, local resident Krister Päivirinta questions whether the proposal has been properly thought through.
