Analogue 3D Nintendo 64 console restocks November 24

The Analogue 3D, a modern FPGA-based Nintendo 64 console, will restock on November 24 at 8 AM PT. The price has risen to $270 for new orders due to tariffs, while original preorders remain at $250. Preorders began shipping on November 18, with all fulfilled before the restock ships on December 2.

Restock Details

The Analogue 3D restocks tomorrow, November 24, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, marking the first availability in over a year for new buyers. This follows the console's official launch on November 18, when preorder shipments started. Originally slated for Q1 2025, the release faced delays to July, August, and finally Q4 2025. Analogue confirmed the launch alongside initial shipping announcements.

Pricing and Preorders

New orders now cost $270, up from $250 due to tariffs, but this increase applies only to fresh purchases. Preorders from last fall retain the original $250 price. Analogue ensures all preorders ship before the December 2 restock wave.

Hardware Features

The Analogue 3D uses FPGA technology to deliver authentic Nintendo 64 gameplay in 4K resolution on modern TVs, with 10X the native 320x240 resolution and zero lag. It supports the full N64 library, including original cartridges, accessories, and is region-free. Key specs include 4K HDMI output, NTSC and PAL support, CRT and PVM display modes with scanlines and shadow masks, 48KHz 16-bit PCM audio, and built-in Expansion Pak emulation.

The console features four original-style controller ports for up to four players (wired or wireless), two USB ports, an SD card slot (up to 16GB SDHC), HDMI, and Dualband Wi-Fi for updates. It includes an HDMI cable, USB cord, and USB-C power supply. The OS offers a Library for game catalogs and Memories for save states and screenshots.

No controller is included, but it pairs with the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller ($32 at Amazon), which requires firmware updates for compatibility. Original N64 controllers and third-party options like the Hyperkin Captain ($20) also work.

Background

Developed over five years, the Analogue 3D aims for precise N64 recreation. Available in white and black, it echoes the Analogue Pocket's design for Game Boy.
