Avenue Supermarts reports 11 percent profit growth in June quarter

Avenue Supermarts reported an 11.3 percent rise in consolidated net profit for the June quarter. Revenue from operations increased 14.9 percent year on year.

The company posted consolidated profit after tax of 860 crore rupees. Revenue from operations reached 18,795 crore rupees during the period.

EBITDA grew 15.4 percent compared with the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin edged higher to 8 percent.

These figures cover the performance of DMart stores operated by Avenue Supermarts.
