Neethu K., a resident near Yele Mallappa Shetty Lake, described an incident where a truck arrived at 7:30 a.m. and the driver called someone who threatened her. She noted that complaints to panchayat officials and police have yielded no response.

Kislay Komal and Balaji Raghotham reported similar threats and garbage burning near the lakes. East City Corporation officials stated they were unaware of the issue and would investigate.
