Progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me has launched a deluxe edition of their latest album, The Blue Nowhere, adding a bonus track and instrumentals. Originally released in September 2025 via InsideOutMusic, the expanded version highlights the band's innovative sound. The release coincides with preparations for an upcoming European tour.

The deluxe edition of The Blue Nowhere includes the original 10 tracks alongside instrumental versions and a new bonus track titled "Overture." Dan Briggs, the band's bassist and keyboardist, shared insights on the bonus track: "‘Overture’ was initially written to lead the album, winding through musical themes from all of the songs... Thankfully, InsideOutMusic also had the idea to have the track included at the end of the deluxe edition of the album – and the humor of the album ending on an overture is not lost on us! Everyone just dig in and stay jamming."

The original album has received strong praise from music outlets. Formed over 25 years ago, Between the Buried and Me has released 11 albums since their 2002 self-titled debut.
