Björk opens major exhibition at Iceland gallery

Björk has launched a new exhibition featuring three large-scale audiovisual installations at the National Gallery of Iceland in Reykjavík. The show, which opened on May 30, draws from her 2022 album Fossora and previews material from a forthcoming record.

The exhibition includes reworked versions of the tracks Ancestress and Sorrowful Soil, presented with new visuals and sound design. Ancestress features landscapes from a remote Icelandic valley, while Sorrowful Soil incorporates voices from the Hamrahlíð Choir across 30 speaker channels in partnership with Genelec.
