Milwaukee Bucks guard Brayden Burries has stood out in the early stages of the NBA Las Vegas Summer League with strong performances in his first three games. The No. 10 overall pick from Arizona has shown promise on both offense and defense.
Burries recorded 23 points, eight rebounds and six assists while shooting 8 of 15 from the field in one game on Monday. He has also contributed with defense and perimeter shooting.
Other top draft picks have impressed as well. Caleb Wilson, the fourth overall selection, scored 35 points in his debut, including seven three-pointers. Meleek Thomas has tallied 85 points across his first three outings, highlighted by a 35-point game against the Heat.
Several players have faced challenges. Cody Williams went scoreless in 23 minutes last weekend. Dailyn Swain is shooting 3 of 26 from the field, and Isaiah Evans has made just 2 of 23 attempts.
The Washington Wizards announced on Tuesday that AJ Dybantsa will sit out the remainder of the Summer League. The event remains halfway complete.
