The album centers on themes of love, heartbreak and personal reflection. It opens with “Intro Pa’l Cora,” where Nodal reflects on fame and his return to roots in regional Mexican music. The title track serves as an anthem of self-love with lyrics stating, “That’s why I choose myself / Even though I love you, my heart comes first.”
