Desmond Elliot obtains nomination form for Lagos assembly return

Lagos State House of Assembly member for Surulere Constituency I, Hon. Desmond Olushola Elliot, has announced his bid for another term in the upcoming legislative election. He disclosed on his Facebook page that he has obtained his nomination form. Elliot said the decision stems from his commitment to public service and building on developmental progress in his constituency.

On Sunday, Hon. Desmond Olushola Elliot, member representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, announced on his Facebook page that he has obtained his nomination form to seek re-election in the forthcoming legislative election.

Elliot stated that returning to the House would make him a ranking member, bringing added benefits to his constituency. “My going back makes me automatically a ranking member and loads of benefits come to our constituency as a result of this feat,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to party leaders, ward executives, community leaders, youth groups, women associations, and stakeholders for their past support. Elliot urged supporters to remain calm, focused, peaceful, united, and respectful during the electoral process.

The lawmaker emphasized that his priorities remain the development of Surulere Constituency and contributing to Lagos State's growth.
