Workers have installed a large crane and added a wire frame to the Encanto ride building as part of the ongoing redevelopment of DinoLand U.S.A. into Tropical Americas at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Construction crews placed the crane in the future Pueblo Esperanza area. They are also retheming roofs on retained structures such as Chester & Hester’s Gift Shop and Restaurantosaurus by removing old shingles.
Progress continues on a two-story building that will house an animal-themed carousel. Scaffolding now covers its central concrete beam.
A new wire frame has appeared along the roof of the Encanto ride building. It is expected to support the Madrigal House roof, upper levels, or surrounding faux elements.
