Walt Disney World resorts are undergoing extensive refurbishments across multiple properties as peak travel season approaches. While all hotels remain open to guests, construction work may lead to noise, temporary closures, and altered access paths. Projects include room updates, dining refreshes, and infrastructure improvements lasting into 2027.
A wave of refurbishment projects is hitting Disney's Value, Moderate, and Deluxe resorts simultaneously. At Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, guest rooms will begin updates in late May 2026, continuing into early 2027, with some buildings unavailable and potential construction noise. Similarly, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is shifting work from Kidani Village to Jambo House through early 2027, affecting savanna views for some guests. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is handling room refurbishments in phases across its large property through 2027, keeping most areas operational but with nearby activity.
