Developer Embark Studios released update 1.15.0 for Arc Raiders on February 10, 2026, introducing new events, map conditions, and cosmetics, but a persistent duplication glitch prompted a rushed hotfix hours later. The team is investigating the exploit's full impact and has warned of possible penalties for affected players. The glitch allows item duplication, leading to overloaded inventories.
Arc Raiders, the extraction shooter from Embark Studios, faced ongoing issues with a duplication glitch that has plagued players for weeks. The exploit enables duplication of any holdable item, resulting in inventory screens that appear hacked. Although the main patch 1.15.0, deployed on February 10, 2026, added new content including an event, map condition, and cosmetics—following the Headwinds update from January 27—it did not address the glitch initially.
Hours after the patch, Embark pushed an emergency hotfix. In a Discord message, the developers stated: “We have just pushed a hotfix to resolve the current duplication issue. We are still actively monitoring the situation to ensure we’ve covered all cases – should you encounter other duplication issues, please raise them to us in the bug report channel.” They added: “We are still investigating the full impact of the issue, and will be taking action based on the severity of the different cases as we complete our investigation.”
The glitch gained visibility when content creator TheBurntPeanut demonstrated it, including infinite Trigger Nades, to over 140,000 viewers. Embark has indicated possible penalties as they assess the damage. This update also includes bug fixes, aiming to stabilize the game amid its growing player base, which recently surpassed 12.4 million copies sold.
The studio continues to support Arc Raiders with planned content, including multiple new maps in 2026.
