Eskild Bakke Olsen stays with Linköping despite NHL interest

Norwegian forward Eskild Bakke Olsen has confirmed he will remain with Linköping HC in the SHL. The 24-year-old center turned down NHL interest after a strong performance at the World Championship with Norway.

Bakke Olsen helped Norway reach the quarterfinals at the tournament. He scored key goals including in a 3-2 win over Sweden. The player said he expects to return to his club soon after the event ends.
