Sweden’s Felicia advanced to the Eurovision Song Contest final after performing ”My system” in the first semifinal in Vienna.

Felicia, who won Sweden's Melodifestivalen earlier this year with 'My system', performed her entry second in the semifinal on Tuesday evening. She suffered a mishap when the glitter on her sunglasses came loose, leaving her unable to see properly out of one eye for parts of the performance. She continued without interruption and later described the feeling as one of relief.

”It feels incredibly nice, like a relief”, Felicia told TT. She added that she now believes she has a chance to win the entire contest. The final takes place on Saturday, May 16.

Other countries advancing included Finland with Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, Greece, Israel and Belgium. Israel faced protests during its performance. Five countries boycotted this year’s contest over Israel’s participation.
