The victory came after an overtake just meters from the finish. Rosenqvist beat David Malukas by 0.0233 seconds, according to Fox Sports the smallest winning margin ever.
Rosenqvist expressed great joy but missed his wife and newborn daughter Stella. Marcus Ericsson finished 13th. Kenny Bräck won in 1999 and Ericsson in 2022 as the previous Swedish winners.
