FFCCCII and Angelo King Foundation launch Exemplar Mayor Award

The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc. and the Angelo King Foundation Inc. launched the FFCCCII-AKFI Exemplar City Mayor Award 2026 on March 17, 2026, to recognize outstanding city mayors.

The award focuses on mayors serving their third term who are nominated by local Filipino-Chinese chambers. It highlights leadership, transparency, and human development in city governance. A panel of judges will conduct the final deliberation. The judges include Roberto De Ocampo, Philip Francisco Dy, Carlo Enrico Lazatin, Donald Patrick Lim, and Austere Panadero. Evaluation covers four pillars: anti-graft and integrity of governance, city financial governance, business-friendliness and competitiveness, and human development programs. Organizers stated that strong leadership builds progressive and resilient cities. The FFCCCII promotes nation-building and economic growth for the Filipino-Chinese community. The Angelo King Foundation Inc., founded in 1978, supports health, education, and community development.
