Godzilla Minus Zero trailer debuts at CinemaCon

The first trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero premiered at CinemaCon on April 14, as announced last month by GKIDS. Picking up two years after Godzilla Minus One, it follows the survivors amid escalating threats, culminating in Godzilla approaching the Statue of Liberty before targeting New York City. Notably, the film will be the first Japanese production shot in IMAX.

Director Takashi Yamazaki presented the trailer during GKIDS' CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas, continuing the story from Godzilla Minus One—previously covered in our series on the sequel's title reveal and U.S. release dates. The footage, highlighted by Variety, shifts the kaiju action to urban American settings, with Godzilla's destructive path promising high-stakes destruction.

This marks a milestone as the first Japanese film filmed in IMAX, building excitement ahead of its November 3 Japan and November 6 U.S. releases. Fans can expect more updates in this Godzilla Minus Zero series.
