The Ministry of Sports confirmed on Tuesday that the National Sports Institute approved DG Medios's new proposal for BTS concerts scheduled for October 14, 16 and 17.
The decision ends weeks of uncertainty. DG Medios incorporated technical modifications to protect the grass, such as assembling a 360° stage without heavy machinery on the turf and cranes operated from the athletic track.
A cover with protection technologies will also be used to maintain grass ventilation. These measures include an engineering study that reduces the field's recovery time.
The Ministry communicated the approval to Universidad de Chile, the Football Federation of Chile, the ANFP and Club Atlético Santiago to coordinate sports and cultural activities.
