GuauFest 2025 takes place in Santiago park with dog activities

GuauFest 2025, Chile's largest dog festival, will take place on December 6 and 7 at Parque Padre Hurtado. The event will feature over 20 immersive experiences, including agility zones, thematic pools, and adoption spaces. Founded by Romain de la Porte and Stephanie Ratinaud, it aims to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

GuauFest 2025 will transform Parque Padre Hurtado, in Santiago's Metropolitan Region, into a space dedicated to dogs and their families. Spanning over 32,000 m² of green areas, the festival will combine entertainment, learning, and awareness on responsible pet ownership. Organizers anticipate a program featuring agility zones, thematic water pools, games, challenges, relaxation and photo points, foodtrucks, and informative stands on canine health, behavior, and education.

There will be two rest areas for dogs and owners. Brands like ORIJEN and ACANA, Canadian dog food companies, will participate by offering experiences that connect animals to their instinctive nature. Francisco Rencoret, commercial manager for ORIJEN and ACANA Latam, stated: “Being part of GuauFest allows us to promote experiences that reflect what we believe: that dogs should be nourished, play, and live respecting their biological nature.” He added: “ORIJEN and ACANA are here to add well-being, connection, and moments that strengthen the bond with their guardians both at home and outdoors.”

Founders Romain de la Porte and Stephanie Ratinaud expressed: “As GuauFest, we are happy to have ORIJEN and ACANA, as this event is born from love for animals and the desire to contribute to a community already in motion.” They emphasized: “We want dogs and their families to have fun, learn, and connect through play and joy in a safe environment.”

Tickets are available via Puntoticket, starting at $23,000 in the first stage, rising to $28,750 and $34,500 in later stages. Family packs and discounts with codes or neighbor cards from La Reina and Las Condes are offered. The event welcomes all dog breeds but requires up-to-date vaccines (rabies, sextuple, Bordetella), valid microchip, leash use, muzzle for potentially dangerous breeds, and sociable behavior.
