HIDDEN.NY has partnered with ASICS to release the GEL-KINETIC 2.0, a lifestyle walking shoe inspired by early computing hardware and digital art software.
The collaboration marks the second joint project between the global curation platform and the sportswear brand. It follows their earlier GEL-NYC release and shifts focus from modern design tools to vintage hardware aesthetics.
The shoe incorporates Scutoid GEL technology and FF BLAST PLUS foam. It was developed with input from the ASICS Institute of Sport Science to optimize cushioning for everyday walking rather than athletic performance.
Two color options are offered. A general release uses a White and Castle Rock palette, while a limited edition draws from faded beige and slate tones of retro computers. Both versions retail for $270 and are available in unisex sizes from US 3.5 to 14 through HIDDEN.NY channels.
