The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Mark Six New Year Snowball draw on Saturday produced a HK$100 million (US$12.8 million) jackpot split between 1.5 winning units. One full unit claims around HK$68 million, while 14 second-prize tickets each receive HK$645,510.

The winning numbers were 2, 10, 13, 16, 20, and 21, with extra number 14. Turnover reached HK$248.5 million, the Jockey Club said.

Earlier that day, more than 100 residents queued outside a 'lucky' Jockey Club outlet on Stanley Street in Central, known for past first-prize sales.

Kelly Ng, 34, bought four tickets with her 65-year-old mother, Yu. 'I have won HK$640 from this branch before, so I have some confidence that I will win something,' Ng said. Asked about strategies, Yu replied they chose randomly generated numbers.

This draw highlights strong public interest in the lottery, particularly during the New Year period.
