Husqvarna plans 2026 adventure trek in Australia's Outback

Husqvarna is launching a new guided motorcycle tour for 2026, taking owners of its 701 Enduro and Norden 901 models deep into South Australia's Flinders Ranges. The six-day trip offers an all-inclusive experience with support for riders exploring the Outback. This event builds on previous treks in locations like New Zealand and Spain.

The Husqvarna Trek program provides fly-and-ride adventures for owners of models including the 701 Enduro, 701 Enduro LR, Norden 901, and Norden 901 Expedition. Past events have included trips to New Zealand and Spain, with the upcoming 2026 edition heading to Australia for what the company describes as its most immersive experience yet. According to a press release, “the Husqvarna Trek heads deep into South Australia’s spectacular Flinders Ranges.” The tour is tailored for 701 Enduro and Norden 901 riders and is limited to 90 participants over six days. It includes accommodation, meals, fuel provisions, and comprehensive support from the Husqvarna Trek team, along with medical and technical assistance, a 4WD vehicle, trailer, and sweep riders to aid participants. Bookings are not yet open, and pricing remains unannounced, though a previous three-day ride in New Zealand last year cost $955 per rider, suggesting this longer Australian adventure may exceed $2,000. That New Zealand route accommodated first-time adventurers with minimal off-road experience, while offering optional challenging paths for more skilled riders. The Australian itinerary is expected to follow a similar structure, allowing participants to select terrain levels that suit their abilities. This initiative highlights the off-road capabilities of Husqvarna's adventure motorcycles in remote settings, providing a structured yet flexible way for owners to test their bikes in the Outback.
