Kai Cenat was pulled over during a recent livestream but the stop ended quickly once the officer recognized him. The streamer and Rakai were allowed to leave with a warning after the officer confirmed checking Kai on YouTube.
The traffic stop occurred during a livestream featuring Kai Cenat and Rakai. An officer inquired about an alleged incident at a nearby McDonald’s before reviewing Kai’s driver’s license.
After the check, the officer informed them they were free to go. Rakai asked if the officer knew who Kai was, and the response came back that “We looked you up on YouTube.” Kai later told viewers, “We’re free!”
Fans flooded The Shade Room’s Instagram with comments calling it “streamer privilege” and “Black privilege.” One user wrote, “First black privilege moment ever,” while another added, “It's about time our privilege finally works too.”
The moment followed Kai’s recent return to streaming after a nine-month hiatus and public apology regarding his past relationship.
