Country singer Kane Brown escaped serious harm after being struck by a golf ball during a round. The 32-year-old shared details of the mishap on social media, noting stitches and a mild concussion.
Kane Brown revealed the incident occurred when a ball from his own buddy hit him in the ear at high speed. He posted on Instagram that he was "shot in the head by a golf ball" but called it "just a scratch."
On TikTok the singer expanded that he needed 23 stitches and sustained a slight concussion. He stressed the ball traveled 150 to 180 miles per hour and that the impact location spared him worse damage.
His wife Katelyn Brown posted she and the family felt relieved the injury remained minor. Brown also recalled meeting Michael Jordan at the golf course during an annual trip.
He urged fans to stay careful while playing and confirmed he is recovering.
