The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 108-102 in Game 2 of their NBA playoff series on Wednesday. New York extended its lead to 2-0 despite the 76ers playing without Joel Embiid. Later, the San Antonio Spurs routed the Minnesota Timberwolves 133-95 to even their series at 1-1.
The Knicks pulled away in the fourth quarter after trailing at times through three periods. Philadelphia shot just 21.1 percent from the field in the final 12 minutes and managed only 12 points. Jalen Brunson delivered key plays down the stretch to secure the win at Madison Square Garden.
