Kuwait equestrian season packed with international events

The Kuwait Equestrian Federation has announced a busy 2025–2026 season filled with international competitions. Riders will have chances to compete against athletes from the Arab world, Gulf region, and Europe. Upcoming highlights include championships at the Police Sports Club and a festival at KIB | The Stadium.

Masoud Johar Hayat, president of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, stated that the 2025–2026 equestrian season is brimming with international competitions at the two-star and three-star levels. These events offer riders valuable opportunities to enhance their skills while facing off against international athletes from the Arab world, the Gulf region, and Europe.

The season kicks off with an international championship hosted by the Police Sports Club on January 28–29. Equestrian enthusiasts in Kuwait can anticipate further excitement from World Cup qualifiers, which will take place at KIB | The Stadium in collaboration with Suffix.

A major highlight is the third edition of the equestrian festival at KIB | The Stadium, starting on February 5. This two-week event along Marina Beach will feature two international championships at the two-star and three-star levels, alongside a one-star competition. The festival promises thrilling action for both participants and spectators, underscoring Kuwait's growing role in the global equestrian scene.

The hosts Qatar will face Palestine in the official opening match, marking the start of Group A action alongside Tunisia and Syria.
