Presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni hired penal lawyer Matías Ledesma to represent him in cases at Comodoro Py federal courts. The probes are in preliminary stages over alleged illicit enrichment and asset analysis. On Wednesday, the official's notary will testify before federal prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita.
Manuel Adorni, chief of staff and presidential spokesperson, hired penal lawyer Matías Ledesma to defend him in federal cases at Comodoro Py. The move comes amid preliminary investigations involving evidence gathering and asset analysis, with no formal charges yet.
The probes link Adorni to alleged illicit enrichment. A recent detail concerns an alleged 2024 trip to Aruba with his family, though migration records show departure to Peru and return from Ecuador, with no direct flights to the island. In a March interview with Luis Majul, Adorni addressed a prior Punta del Este trip: “no tengo ninguna inconsistencia... irme cuatro días con mis nenes”.
Federal prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita oversees one case, where Adorni's notary will testify on Wednesday. Former Justice Minister Cúneo Libarona said on Futurock: “Es un enorme expositor, brillante. Pero cuando te toca a vos, mejor búscate un abogado”.
Matías Ledesma, experienced in economic crimes and federal courts, is the son of judge Guillermo Ledesma from the Trial of the Juntas. His role aims to structure the defense ahead of potential summonses.
