Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy left Friday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers after being struck on his right wrist by a pitch. Initial X-rays were negative, but Muncy remains in pain and missed the next two games.
The incident occurred in the fifth inning of a 5-1 loss at American Family Field. Muncy was hit by a 95.5 mph sinker from reliever Aaron Ashby and left the field after consulting with manager Dave Roberts and a trainer. He had his wrist wrapped in ice afterward and reported ongoing soreness the following day.
