A new series centered on Frances Neagley will premiere the same day as the Reacher Season 4 finale. The spinoff follows the character as she investigates a suspicious death.
Lee Child explained that expanding Neagley's role in the Prime Video series was a deliberate choice. Reacher's internal thoughts work in books but require another character on screen to handle exposition, he told Empire Magazine.
The Neagley series will drop its full season on Wednesday, September 16. Its plot centers on the character learning of a friend's death in a suspicious accident and pursuing justice against a menacing evil.
A 2026 novel titled Sight Line by Dan Ames provides additional source material about the character. It remains unclear if the show will become an ongoing series or stay limited.
