Newcastle United have agreed a deal to sign 20-year-old midfielder Aladji Bamba from Monaco. The transfer is worth an initial £30m plus add-ons, bringing the total package to £35m. Bamba is traveling to Tyneside for a medical and will become the club's fourth signing of the summer.

The deal includes an initial fee of £30m with the remainder in add-ons. Bamba will join goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen, winger Bazoumana Toure and midfielder Sean Steur as Newcastle's fourth arrival of the summer. The club had earlier missed out on targets Victor Munoz and Johan Manzambi.
