Odell Beckham Jr. signs deal to rejoin New York Giants

Odell Beckham Jr. has returned to the New York Giants, signing a contract after a workout on Monday. The move reunites the veteran wide receiver with the franchise that drafted him in 2014.

Beckham spent his first five NFL seasons with the Giants after being selected 12th overall out of LSU. He earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and posted three straight 1,300-yard seasons before injuries and trades took him to the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed wide receiver Germie Bernard and running back Eli Heidenreich to four-year rookie contracts on Monday. The moves leave only third-round quarterback Drew Allar unsigned among the team's 2026 draft class.

The New York Giants are adding veteran wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to their roster for the 2026 season. The move follows a workout with the team on Monday.

Wide receiver Calvin Austin III, previously with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants worth up to $4.5 million, including $3 million in incentives. The move comes after the Steelers parted ways with their entire 2022 draft class. Austin now joins Giants head coach John Harbaugh, whom he impacted during his Steelers tenure.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. recently commented on Instagram asking former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster when he might return to the team. The exchange highlights ongoing connections between the players from their time together at USC. Smith-Schuster remains a free agent after a modest 2025 season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with quarterback Aaron Rodgers on a one-year contract for the 2026 season, worth up to $25 million with $22 million guaranteed. Rodgers, 42, will reunite with head coach Mike McCarthy after leading the team to the AFC North title last year.

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, making him the highest-paid at his position with an average annual value of $42.15 million. This surpasses Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase's mark by nearly $2 million and includes over $120 million guaranteed, following Smith-Njigba's comments last month on deserving top pay after his standout 2025 season and the team's Super Bowl LX victory.
