A 28-year-old Ohio man was arrested and charged with killing his 39-year-old neighbor. Authorities say he beat the victim to death before wrapping the body in a rug and burying it under mulch in his yard.
Markus Yeanay was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the death of Xavier Reynolds. Columbus police responded to a call on Monday evening and found Reynolds' body showing signs of homicidal violence. An autopsy later confirmed the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.
