Oklahoma State hosts Fresno State for senior day equestrian meet

The sixth-ranked Oklahoma State equestrian team will host Big 12 rival Fresno State on Friday for a senior day competition. The Cowgirls enter the matchup on a six-meet winning streak, while the Bulldogs face TCU the day before. The event honors 10 OSU seniors in a post-meet ceremony.

Oklahoma State's sixth-ranked equestrian team is set to host Fresno State at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Stillwater. This Big 12 conference matchup serves as senior day for the Cowgirls, who will recognize 10 student-athletes after the meet: Tristan Bagby, Abby Budd, Kelly Coonce, Lily Corbin, Ellie DuPuis, Cadence Kueker, Avery Langley, Maddie Milo, June Roberson, and Zoe Williams.

The Cowgirls hold a 6-1 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play, leading the Big 12. They are riding a six-meet winning streak, the longest active in the NCEA, following an opening loss to TCU. This surge includes four Big 12 victories, such as wins over Baylor, TCU, and an earlier 11-21 tiebreaker victory against Fresno State on November 21 in Fresno.

Fresno State enters with a 4-3 record and will compete at seventh-ranked TCU on Thursday, February 26, before traveling to Oklahoma State. An OSU win would improve their series lead over Fresno State to 19-4, extend the home record against the Bulldogs to 10-0, and sweep the season series.

Head coach Larry Sanchez is in his 27th year, assisted by Laura Brainard, Ashley Duda, and Jody Brainard. Key performers include June Roberson, with a 6-0-1 record and three MOP honors this season, including the latest against TCU. Emma Filiatreau leads with four MOPs and a 6-1 record in Reining. Bella Holway recently scored a season-high 88 in Fences against TCU for her first MOP.

The meet will stream live on YouTube, with separate channels for Western and Jumping Seat events.
