Örebro Volley had strong chances in the second final match of the Swedish volleyball championships against Engelholm. The team led 23-19 in the first set and 23-22 in the fourth but squandered both and lost the match.
Engelholm now leads the series 2-0, with the first team to three wins prevailing. Örebro must win the next three matches to claim the title.
"It was just sour," said Kerstin Wolf-Watz about the late collapse. The match at Idrottshuset on Wednesday drew 1,293 spectators who got their money's worth from a thrilling, back-and-forth volleyball contest. Kevin Walker performed the national anthem.
