Green Bay assumes Diggs' $472,000 remaining Week 18 base salary and slots him into a secondary reeling from injuries, including Micah Parsons' season-ending torn ACL and Nate Hobbs' knee issue.
The Packers (9-6-1) have lost three straight and allowed 29.5 points per game over their last four, struggling without Parsons. Diggs joins a unit led by Keisean Nixon (16 starts) and Carrington Valentine (11 starts), running zone coverage 79.3% of the time under coordinator Jeff Hafley.
