Paramount+ renews The Madison for season 3

Paramount+ has renewed Taylor Sheridan's drama series The Madison for a third season ahead of its second season premiere. The first season of six episodes debuted on March 14, 2026, following an initial two-season order where both were filmed back-to-back.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, The Madison follows a New York City family grappling with grief at their late patriarch's Montana ranch along the Madison River, starring Michelle Pfeiffer as matriarch Stacy Clyburn and featuring Kurt Russell as her late husband Preston in flashbacks and visions. The ensemble includes daughters Abigail Reese (Beau Garrett) and Paige McIntosh (Elle Chapman), Paige's husband Russell (Patrick J. Adams), Abigail's daughters Bridgette (Amiah Miller) and Macy (Alaina Pollack), locals like Sheriff Van (Ben Schnetzer), cowboy Cade Harris (Kevin Zegers), and Kestrel Harris (Danielle Vasinova), plus Stacy's friend Liliana Weeks (Rebecca Spence).

No premiere date is set for season 2, but season 3 casting will be announced later. Michelle Pfeiffer shared a season 1 acting challenge: scenes with her onscreen husband were shot opposite stand-in Kevin Zegers (Cade Harris), as Russell joined during season 2 production; she imagined Russell's delivery. Matthew Fox, who played Preston's brother Paul in season 1 flashbacks, confirmed his character's death in the plane crash precludes a return.
