Paramount Primal has acquired the R-rated comedy Boys for Life and scheduled it for an April 9, 2027, theatrical release. The project is already in production.
Tyler Falbo will direct and produce the film, which he co-wrote with Max Barrett. The ensemble comedy centers on a group of friends reuniting with a twist. Galen Core joins as a producer.
Falbo gained notice through his work on viral sketch videos for the Almost Friday comedy group. Paramount Primal acquired the project after a competitive bidding process that included A24 and Warner Bros.
To make room on the schedule, Paramount moved Teyana Taylor’s dance film Get Lite from April 9 to August 20, 2027. The label focuses on smartly budgeted titles in comedy, horror, action and sci-fi.
