Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh release advanced to March

Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh has been rescheduled for a March 19 release, taking the slot previously held by Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The Toxic team delayed their film to June 4 due to Middle East instability. Mythri Movie Makers announced the change on social media.

The production house Mythri Movie Makers confirmed the earlier release date for Ustaad Bhagat Singh via a post on X, stating, “Ustaad arrives a week early to spark massive celebrations at the box office. #UstaadBhagatSingh GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 19th MARCH, 2026.” This adjustment fills a gap in the March calendar after other major films were postponed.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Pawan Kalyan alongside Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna. The film draws inspiration from the 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri, directed by Atlee and starring Vijay. It enters a now-open slot following delays for projects like Buchi Babu Sana and Ram Charan's Peddi, as well as Srikanth Odela and Nani's The Paradise.

This leaves room for Ustaad Bhagat Singh and the sequel to Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, the original of which earned over ₹1,300 crore worldwide. Pawan Kalyan's recent 2025 releases, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and They Call Him OG, grossed ₹116.88 crore and ₹295.22 crore globally, respectively, building anticipation for his next venture.

Meanwhile, Geetu Mohandas and Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups shifted to June 4, citing regional instability as the reason for the postponement.
