Pearl Abyss has published a detailed roadmap for updates to Crimson Desert, its open-world action game launched nearly three weeks ago. The changes, set to arrive between April and June, include boss rematches, enemy outpost recaptures, and new difficulty settings. The developer aims to address player feedback on gameplay and quality-of-life issues.
Pearl Abyss shared the roadmap in a blog post on Friday, confirming improvements to make the game world more dynamic. Locations liberated by players will now be recaptured by enemy remnants, preventing the map from feeling static after extensive clearing. Bosses will respawn for rematches, allowing players to revisit challenging encounters and refine tactics, as noted by the developer: 'It's hard to believe that it's been nearly three weeks since we first welcomed you to Pywel. Over that time, we've been closely following your adventures, discussions, and feedback, while working to make Crimson Desert an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.'
