WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta has expressed confidence that he and his brother Rey Fenix will reunite as the Lucha Brothers on WWE programming.
Penta told the Dallas Morning News that a reunion is inevitable despite the brothers currently competing on separate brands. "Definitely, definitely. I expect that. Because I know in my heart, at some point, the Lucha Bros will come together again," he said.
Penta joined WWE Raw in January 2025 while Fenix arrived on SmackDown in March of the same year. The pair last teamed together on the July 19 2024 episode of AEW Rampage.
Both wrestlers now hold championships, with Penta capturing the Intercontinental Title on the March 2 episode of Raw and Fenix reigning as AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. Penta added that the timing remains unknown but that the duo will return together eventually.
