Phoebe Bridgers releases lead single Lost Boys

Phoebe Bridgers has released her new single “Lost Boys,” the first track from her upcoming album Lost Weekend. The song features contributions from several collaborators including Jack Antonoff and members of boygenius.

The single marks Bridgers’ first solo release in four years and follows the announcement of her new album, her first in six years. “Lost Boys” includes vocals from Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Caroline Shaw, along with production from Bridgers, Tony Berg, Ethan Gruska, and Antonoff.

The accompanying music video, directed by Lance Oppenheim and Pablo Rochat, depicts Bridgers as an elf in a Renaissance-style setting. The track opens with vocoder effects and features euphoric choruses with trumpet elements.

Lost Weekend is scheduled for release on August 14 via Dead Oceans. Bridgers will support the album with the Lost Tour, which begins on September 15 in Indianapolis and will enforce a no-phones policy at shows.
