In a strong performance at the Chess Musketeers Open Prize Money Tournament held in Hyderabad, local player Rahim Lakhani dominated the competition by winning all six of his rounds, totaling six points. This flawless run earned him the top spot and a cash prize of Rs 15,000.

The tournament highlighted emerging talent in Indian chess, with Srujan Keethan finishing second and M.Y. Aditya taking third. The final standings also featured Y Rohit in fourth, Akshay Kumar fifth, Vihaan Singh sixth, Sri Charan seventh, Naga Sai Sarthak eighth, Shanmukha Pulli ninth, and P. Saketh tenth. Further down the leaderboard were Jay Sabale eleventh, Sri Sai Vedhansh twelfth, M. Koteswara Rao thirteenth, Eswar Sai Akhil fourteenth, and Dhyan S Nayak fifteenth.
