Rede FALA! opens registrations for free Google trainings

Rede FALA! has opened registrations for free trainings on Google digital tools aimed at journalists, students and newsrooms across Brazil. The program runs in partnership with the Google News Initiative from May 2026 to January 2027.

The 2026 edition trainings will be offered in both in-person and virtual formats. The program includes workshops on tools such as Google Trends, Gemini, NotebookLM, Pinpoint and Google Labs, as well as topics like artificial intelligence, SEO, monetization and audience strategies.

One highlight is Growth Labs Journalism, focused on financial sustainability and modernization of independent outlets. The program also covers journalist safety and content production.

In 2024 and 2025, the initiative delivered more than 24,000 trainings. Registrations must be made through the institution's website, where further information is available.

Created in 2019 by Chirles Oliveira, the event will feature a hybrid format and include figures such as nun Coen and journalist Izabella Camargo.
