Returnal director Harry Krueger launches Cosmic Division studio

Harry Krueger, the game director behind Returnal, has founded Cosmic Division, a new independent studio based in Finland. The compact team will focus on single-player games that emphasize gameplay, atmosphere and emotional storytelling.

Krueger spent nearly 15 years at Housemarque before leaving the Sony-owned studio in 2023. Cosmic Division starts small with a lean approach and plans to build ambitious projects that celebrate his past work while exploring new ideas and talent.
