The King and Queen and Crown Prince couple celebrated National Day with a carriage procession to Skansen in Stockholm.

The King and Queen and Crown Prince couple rode a horse-drawn carriage from the Royal Palace to Solliden on Skansen. Earlier that day the King and Queen had celebrated at Skokloster Castle in Håbo while the Crown Prince couple attended events in Salem. The King unveiled the sculpture Kungsälgen by Jerker Andersson at Skokloster Wärdshus. In his speech he called the visit a milestone because the couple had now marked National Day in all 21 counties. After the televised celebration at Skansen a reception was held at the Royal Palace for Government, Parliament and the diplomatic corps.
