Samsung has released its Freestyle+ projector, a compact device designed to display images on uneven surfaces. The product is available from the company's website and select retailers starting at $1,200.
The Freestyle+ features an updated 3D Auto Keystone correction that flattens images projected onto irregular surfaces, including corners and curtains. It can also automatically adjust image size and focus based on distance to the surface.
Additional capabilities include Wall Calibration, which detects the color of the projection surface and adjusts color and brightness accordingly. The device supports HDR10+ and can project up to 100 inches at 1080p resolution.
It includes a built-in speaker with dual passive woofers for 360-degree audio. Users can stream content from Galaxy devices, Apple devices via AirPlay, Samsung TV Plus channels, or the Gaming Hub. The projector requires a power connection but works with an external USB-C battery for outdoor use.
