Starting December 13, 2025, Expo Reforma in Mexico City transforms into the setting for 'Stranger Things: The Experience', Netflix's official immersive adventure where fans join the protagonists to battle Upside Down threats. The 45-minute experience features special effects and character interactions, followed by a themed area for photos and merchandise.
The highly anticipated 'Stranger Things: The Experience' opens on December 13, 2025, at Expo Reforma, located at Av. Morelos 67, Juárez, Mexico City. This Netflix production, in collaboration with Fever, DCSET, and Blast, immerses visitors in the secret Hawkins lab from the 1980s, where they become protagonists in an original story written by the series creators.
The journey starts with a color bracelet assignment and an explanation of 'Hawkins Power and Light', where attendees awaken subconscious powers like Eleven's. In the lab, they face mental tests under Dr. Martin Brenner's supervision. Dustin and Erica appear to guide an escape, leading to a control room where Demodogs attack, and they join the full team: Mike, Will, Max, Lucas, and Erica, to stop Dr. Brenner and the creatures.
The climax unfolds in the Upside Down with special 3D glasses, helping Eleven and Max fight Demogorgons, Demodogs, Demobats, and Vecna. Santiago Muñoz, Fever's general director, describes the immersion: “It's a truly immersive experience where all Stranger Things fans can really live what it's like to be inside the Stranger Things universe, from the Hawkins lab to other iconic spaces”.
After 45 minutes, visitors enter the Mix-Tape area on floors 6 and 4, featuring recreations like the Byers' house, Palace Arcade, Scoops Ahoy, and a themed bar. There is exclusive merchandise, food like pizza and ice cream, and photo spots.
The experience runs until April 2026, with hours from Monday to Friday 10:00 to 21:00 during vacations until January 11, then Wednesday to Sunday.
